I don’t think I can ever get tired of discovering all the beauty in a garden. This is apparently a pipevine swallowtail butterfly. I look up every new flower, weed, bug, butterfly and bird to familiarize myself with what I’m looking at. Nature is a constant teacher 💖 Happy Friday!

With the overcast and cooler temperatures on Satur

With the overcast and cooler temperatures on Saturday, I was able to harvest all my carrots and begin the cleanup of the beds for my fall planting. If I would have done it Friday, the carrots wouldn’t have been nearly as sweet and I would have been so miserable in the heat. If I had done it on Sunday, I would’ve been caught in the rain and not gotten nearly as much done. My lesson in all that is: “ 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡.”
It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Now who wants to help me wash, chop, and blanch all those carrots?!😆💖💖

As I prepare to get back into the swing of the sch

As I prepare to get back into the swing of the school year, the business, and more lifing…😆I thought I’d share another passion of mine. This is my first year growing a cut flower garden and let me just tell you…. It has been a tremendous joy. The release I get from the garden and nature has been so needed. I no longer just enjoy watching the bees near the tomatoes, I now get to enjoy tons of living things from hummingbirds to butterflies. It’s been so rewarding and a great way to take a break.

I have been spending some much needed time tending

I have been spending some much needed time tending to me. This year I started a flower garden and it has been so unbelievably rewarding. I enjoy my vegetable garden as well, but there is something about seeing the expansion of the leaves and the peek of a new bloom that makes my heart sing. I can not wait to see the first dahlia bloom🤞🏽. I take the imperfection of the weeds with the blushing of a new flower. I’m so very happy I took on this venture. Cutting myself a bouquet from my very own cut flower garden has been such a rewarding journey. 💐#thesnoblovebar #giveyouyourflowers #flowers #garden
